The Cow Crusher Challenge awards the top Cow Crusher of the year!

Our Cow Crushers represent the elite riders from our ranch sorting horse shows across the country.  These were the High Point Riders at each of our horse show events throughout the year.  These cowboys and cowgirls will pair off and compete to see who is truly the best of the best and be crowned the 2024 World Finals Cow Crusher, and take home a nice check and a gorgeous COW CRUSHER CHALLENGE WORLD CHAMPION jacket.  Who's the best Ranch Sorter?

Here’s how it works. 

Each Cow Crusher will ride twice in the All-Draw Cow Crusher Class. (Don’t worry about your rating, the SortArena Software will even out the teams’ ratings as much as possible)

 

The class will be run like all other classes, then, after round 1, the top 8 teams    will advance, to Round 2 which will be in the Head-2-Head Elimination Format.  At the completion of the Head-2-Head, the rider with the most cattle sorted in the shortest amount of time in all rounds will be crowned as the first ever Cow Crusher Challenge Champion.

 

If there is a tie for 2 riders, we will advance to a Head-2-Head 1 man sort to determine the winner.  If there are duplicate teams (1 partner must ride on both competing teams),  We will revert to the standard format for the number of teams remaining only if it is not possible to maintain the Head-2-Head without the same rider competing against his other team Head-2-Head
