The kids compete in the same size pens, on the same cattle, with the same clock. RSOA offers 2 different youth classes for your the youth. Whether your 6 year old daughter is ready to try sorting for the first time, or your 18 year old son with years of sorting experience wants to compete with other youth, RSOA had a youth class for you.
The ability to read cattle, the composure to handle a herd slowly while the clock ticks away, the mental stamina to know when to hammer down , and when to lighten up - these skills know no age, and may even be more predisposed in the youth.
